Hodnota platieb kartou na Slovensku je v rámci Európy nízka, predstavuje 11,6 bilióna EUR za rok 2018 (2 150 EUR na osobu), pokles o 1,5 bilióna EUR (11,45%) v porovnaní s 13,1 billiónmi EUR v roku 2017.
