Celkový objem a hodnota platieb kartami

V roku 2017 bolo na Slovensku vykonaných 414,1 miliónov platobných transakcií kartou (76,69 transakcie na osobu), nárast nastal o 48,9 milióna (13,39%) v porovnaní s 365,2 milióna v roku 2016. Z tohto počtu transakcií, 37,8 milióna (9,13%) bolo vyplatených kreditnou kartou, nárast nastal o 4,7 milióna (14,20%) v porovnaní s 33,1 miliónmi v roku 2016. Väčšina platobných transakcií kartou (376,3 milióna) je platená prostredníctvom debetných kariet, nárast o 45,9 milióna (13,89%) nastal v porovnaní s 330,4 miliónmi v roku 2016. Celkový objem platobných transakcií kartou na Slovensku predstavuje 0,6% z celkového počtu transakcií v EU.

Hodnota platieb kartou na Slovensku je v rámci Európy nízka, predstavuje 13,1 bilióna EUR za rok 2017 (2 430 EUR na osobu), nárast o 0,5 bilióna EUR (3,97%) v porovnaní s 12,6 billiónmi EUR v roku 2016. To sa tiež premieta do 31,6 EUR za platobnú transakciu kartou, čo predstavuje pokles v porovnaní s 34,5 EUR za platobnú transakciu kartou v roku 2016. Z tohto počtu transakcií, 1,3 bilióna EUR (9,92%) bolo vyplatených kreditnou kartou, nárast nastal o 0,2 bilióna EUR (18,18%) v porovnaní s 1,1 biliónmi EUR v roku 2016. Zvyšok platieb kartou v hodnote 11,9 bilióna EUR bol vyplatený debetnými kartami, nárast nastal o 0,4 bilióna EUR (3,48%) v porovnaní s 11,5 biliónmi EUR v roku 2016. Celkový objem platobných transakcií na Slovensku predstavuje 0,4% z celkového počtu transakcií v EU.

Celkový objem a hodnota platieb kartami
V roku 2016 bolo na Slovensku vykonaných 365,2 miliónov platobných transakcií kartou (67,63 transakcie na osobu), nárast nastal o 37,2 milióna (11,34%) v porovnaní s 328,0 milióna v roku 2015. Z tohto počtu transakcií, 33,1 milióna (9,06%) bolo vyplatených kreditnou kartou, nárast nastal o 3,1 milióna (10,33%) v porovnaní s 30,0 miliónmi v roku 2015. Väčšina platobných transakcií kartou (330,4 milióna) je platená prostredníctvom debetných kariet, nárast o 32,3 milióna (10,84%) nastal v porovnaní s 298,1 miliónmi v roku 2015. Celkový objem platobných transakcií kartou na Slovensku predstavuje 0,6% z celkového počtu transakcií v EU.

Hodnota platieb kartou na Slovensku je v rámci Európy nízka, predstavuje 12,6 bilióna EUR za rok 2016 (2 330 EUR na osobu), pokles o 2,1 bilióna EUR (14,29%) v porovnaní s 14,7 billiónmi EUR v roku 2015. To sa tiež premieta do 34,5 EUR za platobnú transakciu kartou, čo predstavuje pokles v porovnaní s 44,9 EUR za platobnú transakciu kartou v roku 2015. Z tohto počtu transakcií, 1,1 bilióna EUR (8,73%) bolo vyplatených kreditnou kartou, podobne ako v roku 2015. Zvyšok platieb kartou v hodnote 11,5 bilióna EUR bol vyplatený debetnými kartami, pokles nastal o 2,0 bilióna EUR (14,81%) v porovnaní s 13,5 biliónmi EUR v roku 2015. Celkový objem platobných transakcií na Slovensku predstavuje 0,4% z celkového počtu transakcií v EU.

Na Slovensku je od 31. decembra 2015 922 940 kreditných kariet, nárast nastal o 30 840 (3,46%) v porovnaní s 892 100 v roku 2014. Počet debetných kariet v roku 2015 vzrástol o 166 380 (3,81%) na 4 534 010 v porovnaní s počtom 4 367 630 v roku 2014.

Celkový objem a hodnota platieb kartami
V roku 2015 bolo na Slovensku vykonaných 328,00 miliónov platobných transakcií kartou (60,52 transakcie na osobu), nárast nastal o 54,86 milióna (20,08%) v porovnaní s 273,14 milióna v roku 2014. Z tohto počtu transakcií, 29,96 milióna (9,13%) bolo vyplatených kreditnou kartou, nárast nastal o 5,30 milióna (21,49%) v porovnaní s 24,66 miliónmi v roku 2014. Tento vynikajúci nárast súvisí s množstvom vydaných kreditných kariet. Väčšina platobných transakcií kartou (298,03 milióna) je platená prostredníctvom debetných kariet, nárast o 49,55 milióna (19,94%) nastal v porovnaní s 248,48 miliónmi v roku 2014. Tento nárast je výrazne pozitívny vzhľadom na zvýšený výdaj debetných kariet o 3,81% v roku 2014. Celkový objem platobných transakcií kartou na Slovensku predstavuje 0,62% z celkového počtu transakcií v EU.

Hodnota platieb kartou na Slovensku je v rámci Európy nízka, predstavuje 14,72 bilióna EUR za rok 2015 (2 720 EUR na osobu), nárast o 1,63 bilióna EUR (12,45%) v porovnaní s 13,09 billiónmi EUR v roku 2014. To sa tiež premieta do 44,9 EUR za platobnú transakciu kartou, čo predstavuje pokles v porovnaní s 47,9 EUR za platobnú transakciu kartou v roku 2014. Majority of card payment transactions(117.17 millions) are paid by debit cards, an increase of 14.84 millions or 14.50% compares to 102.33 millions in 2009; which is a very positive growth since there is only 7.34% increase in the number of debit cards issued in 2010. Slovakia total card payment transactions volume contributes 0.38% to the EU total number of transactions.

Slovakia has a low total card payments in value in Europe, stand at €6.89 billions in 2010(€1.27 thousands per capita), an increase of €0.41 billions or 6.33% compares to €6.48 billions in 2009. This also translates into €53.2 per card payment transaction, a decrease compares to €56.6 per card payment transaction in 2009. This shows payment card is used for increasingly smaller amount purchases in Slovakia. Out of these transactions, €0.59 billions or 8.56% is paid by credit cards, a decrease of €0.01 billions or 1.67% compares to €0.60 billions in 2009. This is expected with the significant decrease in number of credit cards and slow growth on credit card transactions. The rest of card payments, €6.3 billions in value is paid by debit cards, an increase of €0.42 billions or 7.14% compares to €5.88 billions in 2009. This is in accordance with the increase in debit card transactions. Slovakia total card payment value contributes 0.39% to the EU total transactions value.


Credit cards in Slovakia 2008-2009

As of 2009, Slovakia has a population of 5.42 millions with a GDP(gross domestic product) of €63.05 billions. This translates into €11.64 thousands of GDP per capita. Slovakia contributes 0.54% of the EU total GDP.

As at 31st December 2009, there are 5,105,850 payment cards issued in Slovakia(0.94 cards per capita), a decrease of 116,060 or 2.22% compares to 5,221,910 in 2008. There are 1,056,700 credit cards in Slovakia as at 31st December 2009, a significant decrease of 218,500 or 17.13% compares to 1,275,200 in 2008. Debit cards increase by 102,440 or 2.60% to 4,049,150 in 2009, compares to 3,946,710 in 2008.

For 2009, there are 114.39 millions of card payment transactions in Slovakia(21.11 transactions per capita), a significant increase of 27.06 millions or 30.99% compares to 87.33 millions in 2008. Out of these transactions, 12.06 millions or 10.54% is paid by credit cards, a significant increase of 2.64 millions or 28.03% compares to 9.42 millions in 2008; which is a healthy growth as the number of credit cards issued declined by 17.13% in 2009 compares to previous year. Majority of card payment transactions(102.33 millions) are paid by debit cards, an increase of 24.42 millions or 31.34% compares to 77.91 millions in 2008; which is a very positive growth since there is only 2.60% increase in the number of debit cards issued in 2009. Slovakia total card payment transactions volume contributes 0.36% to the EU total number of transactions.

Slovakia has a low total card payments in value in Europe, stand at €6.48 billions in 2009(€1.20 thousands per capita), a significant increase of €1.05 billions or 19.34% compares to €5.43 billions in 2008. This also translates into €56.6 per card payment transaction, a decrease compares to €62.1 per card payment transaction in 2008. This shows payment card is used for increasingly smaller amount purchases in Slovakia. Out of these transactions, €0.60 billions or 9.26% is paid by credit cards, a significant increase of €0.09 billions or 17.65% compares to €0.51 billions in 2008. This is influence by increase on the number of credit card transactions. The rest of card payments, €5.88 billions in value is paid by debit cards, an increase of €0.97 billions or 19.76% compares to €4.91 billions in 2008. This is in accordance with the increase in debit card number of transactions. Slovakia total card payment value contributes 0.40% to the EU total transactions value.
